Mastopexy (Breast Lift)

A mastopexy, or breast lift can also be performed as a stand-alone procedure to raise the position of the nipple, rearrange the breast tissue for a more appealing shape, and to remove extra skin. This usually results in a slightly, or significantly, smaller breast depending on the amount of extra skin present. Smaller amounts of tissue can also be removed to achieve better symmetry or the ideal breast size. Scars may be a lollypop or anchor configuration depending on the amount of lifting required.
