While the majority of us could not even function without internet access, social media platforms can raise some interesting problems when shopping for a plastic surgeon online. A shocking number of Instagram posts promoting plastic surgery (82.2%) were not even board-certified plastic surgeons!
I personally wish I had a better understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat (mostly so I could spy on my teenage son) because it is an inexpensive and effective form of marketing, but I guess it is OK that I stick with my day job.
