Kybella (deoxycholic acid) is F.D.A approved for the removal of fatty deposits under the chin. It has the advantage of being minimally invasive (using a series of injections) and having minimal downtime. Patients should expect swelling, bruising, and tenderness for several days, followed by nodularity in the area and numbness for several weeks. Injections are performed in a series (typically 2-6) and pricing is based on the number of injections required.
